Which You Are You?

Breakout Session

Description

All of us have many different versions of “I” inside us, shaped by our experiences as we progress through life. You are not the same person you were ten years ago. Even daily, we wear different masks. You speak and behave differently to your child than your boss. This presentation will explore practical ways to mine and draw out those different versions of ourselves to strengthen our reflective voice and deepen the meaning of our writing. While the examples will be drawn from CNF, these strategies can also be applied to fiction. This is a craft-based session with hand out and slideshow.
